- Enable you to connect and share with your family members

Information Sharing
Your content is only visible to members of your family group. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except:
- Service Providers: We use trusted services (like cloud storage and notification services) to operate Our World. These providers only access data necessary to perform their services.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Data Storage and Security

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Account & Data Deletion
As a user of the Our World app, you can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time. Here's how:
How to Delete Your Account
- Open the Our World app on your device
- Go to Settings (tap your profile, then the gear icon)
- Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision when prompted
Alternatively, you can email us at privacy@ourworld.net with the subject line "Delete My Account" and we will process your request within 7 business days.
What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your Our World account, the following data is permanently deleted within 30 days:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone, birthday, profile photo)
- All posts, photos, videos, and comments you created
- Your family relationships and connections
- Event RSVPs and responses
- Push notification tokens and device information
- Your account credentials
What Data May Be Retained
Some data may be retained for a limited period as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Transaction records: If applicable, billing records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance
- Legal obligations: Data required to comply with legal proceedings or government requests
- Anonymized analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained to improve the service
Children's Privacy
Our World allows family administrators to create accounts for children under 13. These child accounts have limited functionality and are managed by family administrators. We do not collect more information from children than is necessary to participate in family activities.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app or sending you a notification.
